Conventional power adopts Loong-Gine, Dongfeng Cummins and Renault engines as the core, with Yuchai engines available for some models, covering diesel and natural gas applications. It is equipped with Loong-Gine and Cummins Endurant AMT transmissions, and can be optionally fitted with ZF, Fast Gear and other transmissions, forming efficient and reliable conventional powertrains.
In the new energy sector, Dongfeng insists on full-stack independent R&D, with self-developed hydrogen-fueled engines, ammonia-fueled engines, and the core "three-electric" systems including fuel cells, electric motors and electronic controls. It covers diversified technical routes such as pure electric, hydrogen fuel cell and clean alternative fuels, meeting the power demands of various transportation scenarios worldwide.
