Dongfeng Trucks has developed a self-controlled, full-scenario integrated golden powertrain featuring in-depth synergy between engines, transmissions and axles. Centered on independent proprietary technologies, it provides efficient, reliable and green transportation solutions.
Conventional Powertrain · Core engines cover Loong-Gine, Dongfeng Cummins and Renault engines, with Yuchai engines available as an option. Dual-fuel adaptation is supported, delivering horsepower ranging from 260Ps to 630Ps. The standard transmission adopts the self-developed Loong-Gine and Cummins Endurant AMT, with international brand transmissions optional, achieving a transmission efficiency of 99.8%. The Loong-Gine 3.0 engine has earned the industry's highest efficiency certification of 51.8%, saving 15,000 yuan annually, and boasts a B10 service life of 1.6 million kilometers.
New Energy Powertrain · It achieves 100% controllability of the "three electric systems" (battery, motor, electronic control), covering three technical routes including pure electric and hydrogen fuel. Dongfeng Trucks masters hydrogen/ammonia fuel technologies: hydrogen fuel cell stack power ranges from 20kW to 400kW, with a hydrogen refueling time of 3–5 minutes and a cruising range of 500 kilometers. It holds 830 related patents, ranking first in China.
Axles · The trucks are equipped with Dongfeng Dana (joint venture) axles, with Shaanxi Hande axles optional. The load capacity ranges from 10T to 16T, and the axle ratio spans 2.86 to 7.62, adapting to 82 segmented markets. Featuring lightweight and low-loss design, some models support 300,000-kilometer extended oil change intervals, realizing efficient coordination with the complete powertrain.
