The load-limiting component then releases the webbing at a controlled rate (300-350N), reducing chest and shoulder impact forces—lowering the risk of injury compared to rigid-locking belts. Additionally, the retractor features a vehicle tilt lock (activating at angles ≥15°) to secure the driver during off-road driving or steep slope parking
